Food, Herbal, Organic & Category Compliance Policy

1. Food Products
Food Sellers must maintain applicable FSSAI registration/licence and comply with food-safety, labelling, display, shelf-life, storage, traceability and e-commerce requirements applicable to their activity.
2. Herbal/Ayurvedic Products
Sellers must ensure the product is correctly classified and holds any licence/approval required for its category. Sellers must not make prohibited or unsubstantiated disease-treatment, cure, prevention or therapeutic claims.
3. Organic Claims
Products marketed as “organic”, “certified organic” or equivalent must meet the applicable legal/certification requirements. Sellers must not use certification logos or claims without authority.
4. Eco-Friendly Claims
Environmental claims such as biodegradable, compostable, plastic-free, sustainable or eco-friendly must be accurate, specific and capable of substantiation.
5. Cosmetics/Personal Care
Sellers must comply with applicable cosmetic, labelling, ingredient, safety and advertising requirements.
6. Shelf Life
Food and other time-sensitive products must display applicable manufacturing/best-before/use-by information and must not be dispatched when prohibited by applicable rules or MIRJU’s minimum remaining shelf-life standard.
7. Recall
Sellers must immediately notify MIRJU of safety incidents, regulatory action, product recalls or material defects affecting listed products and cooperate with customer notifications and recall procedures.
8. Evidence
MIRJU may request licences, test reports, certificates, invoices, manufacturer information, batch/lot information or other compliance evidence.
