Organic, eco-friendly & handmade — direct from small sellers across India

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how MIRJU COMMERCE PRIVATE LIMITED (“Mirju”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use mirju.com. Mirju operates as an online marketplace connecting buyers with independent sellers of organic, eco-friendly and handmade goods.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, and any details you enter in our contact form or seller registration form.

Order information: products purchased, order value, order history, delivery status and communications relating to your orders.

Payment information: payments on Mirju are processed by Razorpay. Card numbers, UPI IDs, net-banking credentials and similar payment credentials are collected and stored by Razorpay, not by Mirju. We receive only a transaction reference, the amount and the payment status.

Technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed and referring URLs, collected through cookies and server logs.

Seller information: if you register as a seller, we additionally collect business details, bank or payout details and any documents you submit for verification.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal data to create and manage your account; to process, fulfil and deliver your orders; to share the delivery details a seller needs to ship your order; to process payments, refunds and seller payouts; to respond to your queries, complaints and grievances; to prevent fraud and misuse of the platform; to send order and service notifications; to send marketing communications where you have opted in; and to comply with our legal and tax obligations.

3. Sharing Your Information

Mirju is a marketplace, so some sharing is necessary for your order to work:

Sellers: when you place an order, the relevant seller receives your name, delivery address and contact number so they can fulfil and ship it. Sellers may use this information only to fulfil your order.

Payment gateway: Razorpay processes payments and receives the information needed to do so.

Logistics partners: courier and delivery partners receive your delivery address and contact number.

Service providers: hosting, analytics, email and customer-support tools that operate on our behalf.

Legal: where disclosure is required by law, by a court, or by a government or regulatory authority.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your cart and wishlist, understand how the site is used, and improve performance. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the site — including cart and checkout — may then not work correctly.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active, and afterwards only for as long as required to complete transactions, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and meet legal, accounting and tax obligations under Indian law.

6. Your Rights

Subject to applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may request access to the personal data we hold about you; ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete; ask us to delete your data where we are not required to retain it; withdraw a consent you previously gave, including consent to marketing; and raise a grievance about how your data has been handled.

To exercise any of these rights, write to support@mirju.com.

7. Security

The site is served over HTTPS and we apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

Mirju is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes will be notified to registered users by email where practical.
